A detailed planning application has recently been submitted for this 50 unit scheme in Norfolk. This is intended to be an exemplar low carbon scheme and we are working closely with our client to use innovative design and construction methods to deliver affordable sustainable housing with very low running costs, and achieve a Home Quality Mark 5 star rating (a scheme that replaces the Code for Sustainable Homes). The development is located in the village of Martham, close to the Norfolk Broads, and will help the local council meet its 5 year land supply. The houses will be located within their own heavily landscaped setting and comprise a combination of single and two storey elements which will be principally clad in timber weatherboarding and cedar shingles.
