Project Description
This development was for a large detached dwelling (360m2) that replaced a former bungalow. The site is unusual as it backs on to a lake (Bolton’s Pit) which is now a designated nature reserve. From the street, the house is deliberately understated with the design reflecting that of traditional suburban inter-war style houses nearby. Internally, the ground floor opens up at the rear into large open-plan dining, kitchen and living spaces which benefit from large frameless bi-fold doors to make the best of the unique aspect across the lake.
