In this project, the clients approached us while their house was already under construction. Their brief was clear: to design a practical layout that would accommodate all their required functions and wishes. We developed multiple layout options, electrical plans, bathroom designs, and detailed bathroom elevations to enable the clients to liaise directly with their builders and plumbers. Additionally, we provided 3D visualisations to help them understand the scale of the space, finishes, as well as the size and positioning of the furniture and lighting fixtures they wanted. Once the design was approved, the clients took charge of selecting finishes and furniture themselves, using the plans and renders as references. The clients, a couple in their late 20s with a child, envisioned a modern interior. A key request was for a bathroom that would include a shower, freestanding bath, storage, and a large vanity unit. This presented a challenge due to the original room layout. However, we found a solution by adjusting the door placement, allowing the proposed layout to work seamlessly. Above, you can see one of the design options we prepared. We also presented more neutral options to the clients.
