Project Description
A planning application has been submitted for a mixed-use scheme with two retail units and 12 apartments. The building is designed to have dual frontages, with the main frontage on Chesterton Road and the rear river frontage having views over Jesus Green.
It is intended to enhance the existing streetscape by replacing a poor quality building with a positive built form of mixed use, in line with the objectives set out in The Mitcham's Corner Development Framework. The proposed building has been designed to respond to the predominant characteristics of the historic built form along Chesterton Road, whilst increasing the potential of the site within the context of an Opportunity Area.
