Construction has just been completed for 6No. family houses (of circa 250m² each). Three dwellings are sited along the Queen Edith’s Way frontage with the remainder located towards the rear of the site and served from a private road. A contemporary approach which responds to the surrounding suburban vernacular has been taken. The house types have been conceived as simple gable-ended forms with modern double-height bay windows. Other details include chimneys, recessed porches and interior lightwells. Secondary lower scale elements have been introduced to provide a varied roofline and to introduce a transition in scale between neighbouring properties.
