Project Description

The site is situated just outside the historic centre of the village on a hillside, with views looking back towards the High Street. This site was acquired by our client with an outline planning approval for three dwellings. The current proposal is for a single large house with a linked artist's studio. The main house is deliberately broken up into smaller elements to assimilate with the scale of nearby development within the village. These elements vary in terms of function, scale and materials and are intended to give an impression of a collection of outbuildings. Construction is due to start next year.
