Project Description
This scheme comprised of two townhouses and four duplex apartments accessed via a central courtyard, with parking and garden areas provided at the rear. The development replaced a former taxi depot and was designed to assimilate itself into the Victorian streetscape whilst still providing a building with a distinctive character.
The building is now illustrated in the Local Conservation Area Appraisal, and is cited as a good example of a modern building fitting into an historic context.
The initial planning approval was obtained by Jim Chapman Architects and we were appointed by the client to complete the detailed design.
